Future Robotix adds Servotecnica and Rozum to their Robotics Line Card

Contra Costa County, California, May 15, 2018….Convergence Promotions, a California LLC, announced the launch
of ‘Future Robotix’, a new California Limited Liability Company serving the robotics industry. Their line card will
include housed motors, rotor and stator kits, slip rings, joints, encoders, brakes, drives, collaborative robots and
other products for the robotics and automation industry.

Concurrent with the formation of the new company, Convergence divested their portfolio of TQ-Systems’
RoboDrive products, and Future Robotix has added solutions from two industry-leading European robotics
companies. According to Glenn ImObersteg, the CEO of Convergence, “It was an easy decision: we have been at
the vanguard of the US precision and surgical robotics market since its inception. Now that the market has
matured, our customers are demanding a more cost-effective and diverse product selection and greater
manufacturing capacity. We believe, through an alliance with Servotecnica and Rozum, we can now meet those
demands.”

Rozum Robotics is an international robotics company headquartered in Minsk, Belarus, and manufactures
precision brushless motors and cobots. The majority of the components in Rozum’s housed motors, including
frameless AC motors, controllers and encoders, are designed and manufactured by Rozum.
For almost 40 years, Servotecnica has provided the industrial, automation, robotics and motion-control industry
with exceptional products and services. With corporate headquarters and manufacturing based in Milan, Italy, the
company provides a wide range of products, including: linear and rotary servomotors, digital and analog drives,
axis controllers, gear motors, linear and rotary transducers, slip rings/rotary joints and servo-actuators.
Michael ImObersteg, the President and CEO of Future Robotix: states: “Our customers demand a reliable source of
motors at different performance levels and price points. It is also essential that they can be purchased with
encoders, controllers and gears optimized to work together to produce the highest dynamics and the most reliable
performance. We believe with the inclusion of these two industry leading manufacturers, and the addition of our
technical design expertise, we can now offer our customers a greater selection and better service than ever
before.”
